Iowa

Lewis and Clarks journey in Iowa took form 1804 to 1806. Their journey started at the mouth of the Mississippi River and ended in the Pacific Ocean. The bends and turns were more smooth and the land was flat that buffered its banks. They led 40 men ( soldiers and boatmen ) all through their journey. They mapped their whole journey and wrote down all the natural recourses they crossed. They made contact with Native Americans on this long journey.

                            Kansas

They arrived in Kansas City on September 15, 1806. On top of a high bluff with a beautiful view of the Missouri River Valley, they noted that the site offered a "commanding situation for a fort." Lewis And Clark spent their 4th of July celebrating in Kansas. They spent three more days after that in the same town.
