Lewis And Clark in Montana

They found several wild buffalo swimming in the river, but didn't shoot them because they had plenty of meat. They found very fertile land and lots of game. They found different types of willow trees and rose bushes. The trees mostly consisted of cottonwood. They met a tragedy when one of the people traveling with them shot an Indian dog. They ate beaver meat in the winter. They then found green grass and flowers.
