Lewis And Clark discovered North Dakota in 1804. Where they met up with Sacagawea who later joined their group. They saw and discovered and saw many majestic and beautiful creations and creatures. They built Ft. Mandan where they spent the bitterly cold winter of 1804-05, near the place where Sacagawea is from, Mandan. After that winter most of the Mandan Indians slowly succumbed to disease and their Indian enemies.
