The 8^th graders in Computer Class (April-May 2005) worked on this project individually or in pairs. The project in Computer Class was selected to extend from their study of lasers in Science Class. Some of the pictures on the projects were taken in Science Class. Some of the pictures, found online, required that we e-mail authors of websites to ask permission to use them. The students drew some of the pictures. Research was conducted mainly online. Students were also to cite sources of their information.
