HOW LASERS WORK

Lasers are used every day. They are used  for presentation, and to fix the human  body. When lasers first came out they cost  a lot.  Now they are much cheaper.

Laser stands for
Light Amplification Stimulated  Emission Radiation. The photons bounce between the two mirrors until enough photons have been emitted that some pass through the semi-silvered mirror on one end. These are the photons which are seen as the laser beam.

Light - Laser light comes in one color through a thin beam. It can be focused on a tiny spot and can be made very intense or not intense at all.
Amplification - Amplification means the light beam gets made stronger and more compact.
By the
Stimulated -The photons are stimulated to release more photons.
Emission - The photons are given off after passing through electrodes. See the picture below.
Radiation -This refers to the photons which are being emitted.
