Laser inscriptions are when lasers are used to etch designs and serial numbers onto products, such as metal and diamonds. They identify products as authentic and also verify important information about the product.  They can help identify stolen products.
           Lasers are L.E.D.s, or light emitting diodes. Light emitting diodes are used for remote controls for TV's, vcrs, and radios.  L.E.D.s are used for self- flushing toilets. They work by when you stand in front them it disrupts the laser and when you move it goes back to normal triggering the toilet to flush.
