A lot of people had to move out of their homes because of prejudice. One race that had it the worst was the Jews. When World War 2 ended, many Jewish people wanted to go back to their original homeland. Some countries thought it was unfair and unjust that the Arab people in Palestine should have to make so much room for many Jewish immigrants. The British began to capture any ships containing illegal Jewish immigrants headed for Palestine and send the ships back where they came from.
