In modern times people move for a number of reasons. The size of  the family may change, or you don't like the schools. The work location may change; the house needs remodeling; or remodeling may be to expensive for your family. You don't like the neighborhood or you may not like the floor plain. Your yard might be too big or too small.    Your house may be too big for your family or too small. Someone in the family gets a divorce, or remarries.
