by G Sandora

On Wednesday, November 2, 2011, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Kishwaukee College will be hosting its annual Engineering, Math, and Science Academy (EMSA) Program Information Session for high school juniors interested in the program. The Academy provides students an opportunity to start their college career in their senior year of high school. The requirement for acceptance into the program is that the student be a junior and enrolled in pre-calculus and/or trigonometry.

The EMSA program allows students to earn up to 26 college credits during their senior year in high school by taking Kishwaukee College courses beginning the summer before their senior year. During the Fall and Spring semesters, EMSA classes will be held on Kishwaukee College’s campus, Monday through Friday mornings from 7:45 – 9:45a.m.
