Motto - Toward New Horizons
The mission of FCCLA is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
The main focus of FCCLA is focusing on the multiple roles of family members, workers, and community members.
The main purpose for FCCLA is to prepare men and women for the multiple roles in today's society.
To be a member of FCCLA you have to come to the meetings which are held the first and fourth Thursdays during AE. Also, members pay dues and participate in the annual lollipop fund raiser. FCCLA only has one major fund raiser and that is the selling of lollipops. This fund raiser usually makes a lot of money for the FCCLA. FCCLA members usually "hit" the school with over 2500 lollipops.
FCCLA Activities:
Friday, October 21 - Ice Cream Sundaes for $1 in Commons during lunch periods
Sucker Fundraiser: November 1-18th.
Saturday Haunted Corn Maze Trip to Malta - Oct. 22nd. We would leave GKHS @ approx 6:30pm
March 10, 10am Genoa Expo
