National Honor Society (NHS) are students who are not only academically inclined but are also leaders within their school. In the second semester of your Junior year if you hold a Grade Point Average of 3.5 or better and have at least five semesters on honor roll, you are able to apply for admission into NHS. A student's academics, goals, leadership ability and accomplishments are all part of becoming a member of NHS. Students who become members of NHS do a variety of projects during their senior year such as tutoring and fundraising for charity. The students decide what they want to do to contribute back to their school. Donna Koehnke assists them in their endeavors as their Advisor.
