| PHYSICAL EDUCATION 1 year - 1 credit 3 1/2 CR. REQUIRED P.E. includes a variety of individual, dual, and team sports. Effort, participation, dress, conduct, skill, and written tests determine the grade. Three and one-half years are required for graduation. |

| HEALTH EDUCATION 1 semester. - 1/2 credit REQUIRED Taken in the Freshman year, this health education class is designed to aid a student to understand the facts, concepts and generalizations of mental health, personal health, diseases in our environment, drug/alcohol/tobacco use in our society, and human sexuality and life styles. Students will receive training in Community CPR and standard First Aid. |
| DRIVERS EDUCATION 1 Quarter (9 weeks) - 1/2 credit REQUIRED Sophomore level or above only State Requirement states that you must pass at least 8 classes in the previous 2 semesters to take Dr. Ed.. Classroom/Behind-the-Wheel training. The State of Illinois requires a minimum of 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of Behind-the-Wheel. Some of the units of instruction include basic car control, DUI and driving, basic car maneuvers, handling emergencies, interacting at intersections, and understanding traffic laws. |
