Railroads were good for transporting people and other stuff to the east, and to get things back to the west easier. The railroads were also better for safety and it was faster so it took less time to get from one place to another. Railroads made it easier for farmers to transport animals and other creatures to trade in the east, and to the west would come better stuff. |
