Hello GK Parents.
As a follow-up to our previous May 15th and 16th training days, and in an effort to ease recent concerns regarding PowerSchool and the online registration process, we will be providing PowerSchool registration help on Mondays throughout the summer. Starting July 8th and continuing through August 5th from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm training is available in the Genoa-Kingston High School Library.
Instructions regarding PowerSchool and the registration process are also available on our website. Parent information sheets were provided to all Kingston and Genoa Elementary parents. Check your student backpacks for the letter or envelope the schools provided. PowerSchool parent portal information was also provided to middle school and high school parents at the start of last year. Please bring this letter with you to expedite the parent account setup.
Starting with 6th grade, you will be able to view student class assignments, grades and attendance in addition to registering your student. You will also have the ability to request automatic email notifications from PowerSchool on attendance, grades, and announcements for students in Grades 6 through 12. Notifications to your email may be selected in intervals from daily up to monthly delivery.
