Week of 2/8
Word Work: We will continue our contraction spelling list.
Our high frequency words are: yard, have, either, second, great, laughed, she, run, they, off, sure
Reading: We’re reading a nonfiction text, “Money Matters” and using text features.
Writing: We’re working on opinion writing.
Math: We will be starting our new topic on numbers to 1,000.
Other News and Reminders:
Students will be logging on from 8:00-9:15 on their home learning days starting on Monday, February 8th for a morning meeting to support their social-emotional growth as well as a new math lesson each day. They will be bringing their math books back and forth between home and school.
