2nd Grade Newsletter
Week of 3/1
Word Work: We are working on a new list of er, ir, ur words.
Our high frequency words are: · like, put, first, done, saw, also, into.
Reading: We are working on a fiction text called, “I Wanna Iguana.” We’re working on understanding story structure, describing character traits, and identifying point of view.
Writing: We’re continuing our focus on opinion writing and using commas.
Math: We are working on three digit addition.
Other News and Reminders:
There will be no school on Friday, March 5th for a planning day.
Hybrid students will begin coming to school Monday through Friday on Monday, March 8th from 8-1.
