Map for pick up

Good evening, KES families!

Please mark your calendars for student belonging pick-up and Chromebook drop-off.  We have organized this to have specific grade levels come on certain days to help with social distancing.  Classroom teachers will be available on their assigned grade level day only.  We will follow the same procedures that we use on a normal school day for student pick-up.  (Please see the attached map)

When:  Kindergarten - May 26      1st grade - May 27      2nd grade - May 28

Time:  9:00-3:00

How it will work:

Kindergarten - Parents will follow the one-way protocol of normal drop-off and pick-up (see attached map), check in with the staff member with the walkie-talkie, give them your child's name and teacher, then proceed to the pick-up lane.  The child's teacher will come out with your child's belongings.  Please pop your trunk or roll down a window (school-side), the teacher/staff member will place the bag in the car.  Parents/students should not get out of the car.

1st and 2nd grade - Parents will follow the one-way protocol of normal drop-off and pick-up (see attached map), check in with the staff member by the office doors, hand them the chromebook with cables, once cleared, they will send you to the pick-up doors to collect your child's belongings.  Please pop your trunk or roll down a window (school-side) so that the teacher/staff member can place the bag in the car.   Parents/students should not get out of the car.

The goal is to keep the line moving and yet practice social distancing.

Lost and Found:  We will have a table of lost and found items set up in the bus lane.  If you are interested in looking, once you receive your child's belongings, you may pull up in the bus drop off area.  We ask that only one person at the table at a time - please be patient.

Yearbooks:  If you ordered and PAID for a yearbook, it has already been placed in your child's bag.  We may have extra available for purchase later (the week of June 1st).  Please do not try to pay during pick-up - we want to keep the lines moving.

Thank you for your patience with this - if someone told me this was how we were going to be ending the year, I definitely would not have believed them.
