Week of 2/15
Word Work: We have a new contraction spelling list.
Our high frequency words are: yard, have, either, second, great, laughed, she, run, they, off, sure.
Reading: We’re reading a nonfiction text, “Money Matters” and using text features.
Writing: We’re working on opinion writing.
Math: We will be working on skip counting, comparing numbers, and looking for patterns.
Other News and Reminders:
Information came home about Jump Rope for Heart and the KES fundraiser.
We will continue with our 8:00 Google Meets. Your child will be bringing his or her math book back and forth between school and home each day.
