2nd Grade Newsletter
Week of 5/24
Word Work: We are working on a review list of sight words.
Reading: We are working on reading for fluency and comprehension along with learning about science topics in Scholastic News.
Writing: · We will be working on writing and expanding complete sentences.
Math: We are focusing on the step-up lessons for third grade. This week we’re working on adding and subtracting three digit numbers and fractions.
Other News and Reminders:
Please remember to send a water bottle with your child each day.
Students must wear a coat to recess unless the temperature is 65 degrees or higher.
In-person students are keeping their chromebooks and chargers at school from now until the end of the year. Remote students are turning in chromebooks and chargers on June 7th.
On June 1st we will be traveling to GES to take a tour.
