Kindergarten Newsletter
Week of September 6, 2021
Upcoming Dates:
- Saturday, September 11 is Patriot Day. We will wear red, white and blue on Friday, September 10.
- Tuesday, September 14 is Picture Day.
- Wednesday, September 15 is bus evacuation drill. All classes will practice getting off a school bus in the event of an emergency.
- Monday, September 27 is kindergarten curriculum night at 6:30pm. (parents only)
Math:
Topic 1: Numbers 0 to 5
Counting tells us how many are in a group, regardless of their arrangement or the order they are counted. The last number said when counting a group is the number. We will also practice writing numbers 0-5.
Phonics: Focus letters this week Aa and Tt

Reminders:
- Please check your child’s folder every day and remove all papers.
- Label homework pages with your child’s name.
- Send healthy snacks to school (no chips or cookies).
- Send a FILLED water bottle to school every day.
