Building & Grounds

At Genoa-Kingston School District #424 our operations staff cover five school buildings, the Davenport building and transportation facility. The department is in charge of 500,000 sq. ft. building space and 43 acres of mow-able land.

Responsibilities of Operations:

  • Snow & ice control

  • Emergency Management

  • Maintenance of District fleet (buses, vans and maintenance vehicles) & parking lots

  • Delivery of all food/meals and in-district mail to schools

  • OSHA, EPA & ROE compliance certification

  • Servicing equipment

  • refinishing all floors

Facility Usage

Genoa-Kingston CUSD 424 believes school facilities should be available to the community for educational, civic, cultural, and other non-commercial uses consistent with the public interest when such use does not interfere with the school program or school sponsored activities. Persons on school premises must abide by the District’s conduct rules at all times.
