Genoa-Kingston Band Program

Students interested in band start in fifth grade and can continue the program until graduating. Students will be taught by Brian Drews and Elena Ramirez. Playing an instrument improves students memory, concentration and problem-solving skills. It also teaches students about commitment and sticking to a routine. Above all else, there is the sheer joy of creating something awesome together. When you're jamming with the band, it's not just about the notes and rhythms; it's about expressing yourself and having a blast while doing it. We look forward to welcoming you to the Genoa-Kingston Band community.

Mission Statement: We, the proud members of Genoa-Kingston's Band Program, hereby commit ourselves to excellence, integrity, the love of music, and striving for the best band possible. We stand as a united musical family and encourage one another to reach each person's full musical and personal potential.
