The Community Impact Club has organized GKMS Holiday Spirit Theme Week next week. We kick off Monday with “Merry Monday–Channel Your Flannel,” students are encouraged to wear flannel clothing. The Community Impact Club is still collecting unwrapped toys or donations for their Toy Drive($5-$10 value) through December 14th. All donations will go back directly to help out GK Families.
Next week also marks the end of the 2nd quarter and the Encore rotation 3. Please take time this weekend to check your student’s grades in the Skyward Parent Portal and discuss how your student is doing this quarter. If you have any class specific questions please reach out to your student’s teacher.
Congratulations to our 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball teams this season. 7th grade took 1st place in the MNC tournament and 8th grade took 2nd. Good luck to our Cheer Team at the inaugural MNC Cheer Showcase this weekend. It will take place tomorrow, December 10th, at 10am at GKHS. Go Cogs!
