Please take a few minutes to complete the Parent Climate and Culture Survey. This survey provides us with valuable information about the current realities and perceptions of our school environment, instruction, relationships, and safety of our school. I would like to thank you in advance for taking a moment to fill out this survey.
Next Thursday, February 16th, GKMS is hosting Parent/Teacher Conferences between 12p-8pm. To sign up for a conference log into your Skyward Parent Portal and click on the Parent/Teacher Conference tile. From there you will select a time slot and individual teachers. You may select an in-person, virtual, or phone conference when scheduling a conference. The conference time slots are 10 minutes and you may sign up for as many of your student’s teachers as you like. If you have any questions please contact the office at 815-784-5222. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, February 16th.
8th Grade
Yesterday, the high school guidance counselors came to the middle school to discuss course selection for next year. Please take time over the weekend to discuss course selection for next year. The course selection forms are due to the middle school by next Friday, February 17th. There is a Freshman Informational Session next Wednesday, February 15th, in the auditorium at GKHS starting at 7pm. This event is for 8th grade students and their parents/guardians.
