The GKMS was given a lesson in pottery making to showcase the new kiln the students use in Art class. It was an educational and fun experience for all. A huge thanks to Mrs. Hulseberg to share her knowledge and talents with the staff. #gkcogs
Starting tomorrow, April 13th- 15th, GKMS students will be taking the Illinois Assessment of Readiness. Students will need their Chromebook, headphones, and a calculator. Please remind your student to get plenty of sleep and have a healthy breakfast. GKMS students ROCK! #gkcogs
GKMS 3rd Quarter Report Cards are coming home with in-person students today, 4/1. If your student is full remote the report cards will be mailed home and you should receive them in the coming days. Have a great weekend! No school tomorrow, 4/2 or Monday, 4/5. #gkcogs
GKMS Track Sign Up is open. First practice is April 29th. Track is open to all grade levels. Come on out and meet some new friends! Students can sign up in their grade level classrooms. Email Mr. Harrington with any questions. #gkcogs
Reminder there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, March 5th. We WILL still have Basketball Intramurals and Chess Club after school. #gkcogs
There will be Boys Basketball Intramurals from 3-4:15pm tomorrow; Thursday 2/18. Boys will need a ride to and from. No physical needed. Bring a water bottle, mask, and prepare for some basketball fun! #gkcogs
Friday, February 5th will be full remote for ALL students. All students will log in remotely to all of their classes at their class period start times. The After School Remote Assistance with teachers will be available from 1:30pm-2:30pm as it was during the Adaptive Pause.
