This year, Kingston Elementary School has hired one new staff member to join the KES team!
It is with great excitement that we extend a big welcome to our newest team member, Nycol Prokop. As a GK alum, we are thrilled to introduce Mrs. Prokop as a valuable addition to our team!
Mrs. Prokop brings a rich academic background and a passion for teaching to our organization. With her degree in Early Childhood Education earned from Northern Illinois University, Mrs. Prokop’s dedication to education and lifelong learning aligns perfectly with our commitment to preparing students to excel and contribute to their community.
Outside of being a teacher, Mrs. Prokop has a vibrant array of interests. In her free time, you will find her spending time with family. “I enjoy playing with and watching my son grow. My family enjoys going on walks and traveling across the country,” said Mrs. Prokop. She also enjoys watching tv, coloring and puzzles.
At Genoa-Kingston School District, our mission is to prepare students to excel and contribute to their community. For Mrs. Prokop, our mission statement resonates deeply. She believes that Students are the next generation, and preparing students means engaging them in a way that makes them excited to learn and then transition into sharing their knowledge with others in order to better the community around them.
