GENOA, IL — Genoa-Kingston Middle School and Mr. McCune, STEM teacher, is proud to announce the upcoming launch of the Design & Digital Twin expansion of its PLTW classes. This transformative project is desig
ned to prepare students for a tech- driven workforce. Located in Genoa, Illinois, the initiative will serve as a testbed of innovation in engineering education.
Supported by a strategic grant from Meta, the project officially begins on August 2026, with a full classroom rollout scheduled for October 2026. The initiative introduces cutting-edge tools, including Meta Quest 3S headsets, a Creality 3D scanner, and 
high-speed MakerBot SPRINT 3D printers, into the daily curriculum for middle school students.
