GKMS held their annual Poppy Flower Poster Competition and the posters were displayed for Memorial Day at the Genoa VFW. The poppy flower has long stood as a symbol of remembrance and sacrifice, and our students did an incredible job honoring veterans through their creativity and artwork.
Best in Show went to Elsie Sundquist, and her poster will remain on display at the VFW for the entire year.

Through this partnership with Kishwaukee College, students had the opportunity to meet with academic advisors, register for classes, and connect with staff from across campus as they prepare for the next step in their journey.
